About Arizona
Arizona's primary revenue source is tourism owing not to lack of
industry but its startling natural beauty.  Five million paying visitors
enjoy the Grand Canyon alone.  The Painted Desert, the Petrified
Forest and Meteor Crater are also counted among its many natural
wonders too numerous to list.  Among the wonders of a more human
nature, Arizona's Cactus League spring training now claims a
majority of Major League Baseball teams owing primarily to the good
weather.  Arizona skies are customarily clear and it should come as
no surprise Kitt Peak, just west of Tucson, hosts the worlds largest
collection of research-grade optical telescopes.

If your tastes are a little more urban, the Phoenix metropolitan area
claims a staggering 230 golf courses, perhaps the largest per capita
concentration in the world.  Exclusive shopping is available at
Scottsdale's Borgota that also supports the widely popular Scottsdale
Art Walk, a gathering of art patrons, aficionados and the curious who
stroll from gallery to gallery enjoying works of the many artists who
call the Valley of the Sun home.

Arizona inherits a rich history of native peoples including the Navaho
and Apache tribes as well as the ancient and enigmatic Anasazi.
You wouldn't be the first hiker to find a forgotten Indian ruin or marvel
at an uncataloged Indian petroglyph.

Someone once confessed Arizona is simply a collection of the
amazing.  It's easy to fall in love with and impossible to forget.  We
couldn't have said it better.
